TAKEKAGO 手で触れる伝統工芸品 FEEL OF BAMBOO
“伝統工芸品を実際に手で触れて親しんでもらいたい”という村澤一晃デザイナーの思いから創られた照明です。灯具は２０１０年秋の『黄綬褒章』を受章された駿河竹千筋細工の伝統工芸士 高橋一雄氏によるもので、竹の節目は意匠として美しく配置され、また竹の継ぎ目はまったくわからないほど丁寧に仕上げられております。灯具の角度は自由に変えられ、直に床にころんと転がしておくことも出来ます。
Takekago was created by a desire of Kazuteru Murasawa; With actual touch by the hand, would like people to be familiar with Japanese traditional craft work. The lamp shade is made by bamboo traditional craftsman Kazuo Takahashi who was received 'Medal with Yellow Ribbon' in autumn of 2010. The bamboo joints are beautifully arranged as a design, and the seams of the bamboo ring are finished up with great care as if nobody could find them. The angle of the lamp fitting can be freely changed, and be rolled on the floor as well.
